Whitney is an artist and a potter living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she has been creating her ceramics since 1996. Her work reflects her love of flowers and obsession with color and texture. Her background in painting is expressed on the surface of her pottery, where each piece is given individual attention and one-of-a-kind treatment. She free forms each design by hand, painting first then carving into the design to add depth, detail, and texture.
